Hotel accommodation a ‘huge relief’ for workers during coronavirus – CBS Boston
BOSTON (CBS) – Tufts University isn’t the only place to house first responders and medical professionals as they work during the coronavirus pandemic.
Where to stay is now one less worry for social worker Larisa Goncharuk. “It’s a huge relief,” she said.

Goncharuk works at the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center. In addition to her job, she was worried about potentially bringing COVID-19 home to her family and was weighing where she might live temporarily.
The Hebrew Rehab Center cares for more than 600 patients at facilities in Dedham and Roslindale. To keep employees in good physical and mental health, the company provides free accommodation at the Residence Inn Marriott.

“Just to come here and know I’m safe and my family is safe,” Goncharuk said.

As Larissa prepares for a night’s sleep before returning to Hebrew Senior Life, the tears in her eyes reveal how much the gesture means. “It makes me more relaxed [so I can] focus on my work, ”said Goncharuk.
