The government of Nepal has released a new list of operational five-star hotels in the country.
According to a new classification made public by the Department of Tourism, there are 18 five-star hotels in the country. One of them, Mechi Crown Plaza in Jhapa, eastern Nepal, has also been recognized as a five-star luxury hotel.
It is expected that the number of five star hotels will increase soon as many are under construction.
